![]() ![]() Casual fans may pass and shouldn't feel like they missed much. If you want more Borderlands 2, you can get it right here with Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt. All in all a decent DLC worth a go, but I feel is better suited to more hardcore players. NOTE! I played this in TVH mode starting at level 38, so the "normal" mode may differ a bit but probably not much. Along with new DLC of course comes some new items This video will go through all of the weapons, relic, and shield included with Sir Hammerlock's Big Hunt D. You then have to smash the switch to make the barrier go away. In the Hammerlock DLC, sometimes I'll stumble upon a switch on the ground that when activated, creates an impenetrable barrier like the Angelic Guard loader does. I only recently acquired the GOTY edition of Borderlands 2. Loot drops are pretty consistent with other entries. I was hoping someone could shed some light on this for me. Aergus itself is a tad barren with not a ton of different areas//buildings to check out, but again not that big a deal for me. Another irksome thing was having completed a side quest having to go through waves of re-spawned enemies in an already cleared area just to complete it! It didn't bother me alot but others may find it unacceptable. Also used "slag" weaponry/grenades ALOT more. If you own the Borderlands 2 Pass, DO NOT purchase this content here as you will be charged again. On the positive side to that I found I used the rocket launcher and shotgun a TON more than any other previous entry which was kinda "new" for me. I can see some people rage quitting after being killed by a witch doctor for the umpteenth time. I'd say be at level 35 at least before heading in. It is expected that the player has finished the main. The level of the initial area is set when Hunter's Grotto is first visited, but in Normal Mode is at least 30 and at most 35. It was released on January 15th, 2013 for PC & Xbox 360, and the following day for PS3. As others have stated previously, this DLC is difficult. Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, by Gearbox Software and Triptych Games, is the third campaign DLC released for Borderlands 2. That being said, some things you should know. It's fairly short, the characters and humor aren't as good as past entries. Basically if you dig the past DLC's this one is worth playing. Please note the first mission of Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, 'Savage Lands', is suggested for characters level 31 and higher on Normal Mode and level 35 and higher on True Vault Hunter Mode. It's fairly short, the characters and Almost completed it.
